QUETTA: Iftikhar Ahmed smoked six sixes off the final over by Wahab Riaz to help Quetta Gladiators post a mammoth 185-run target against Peshawar Zalmi in the exhibition match, here on Sunday.
Iftikhar played an astounding of 94 from 50 balls and lived up to the expectations of the cricket-devoid people of Quetta, who showed up in numbers to witness the first competitive cricket match at Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti Stadium after 27 years.
